Dr. Peracha specializes in diseases and surgery of the vitreous and retina, including floaters, wet and dry macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, retinal tears, and detachments.
He performs injections for wet macular degeneration, laser treatment for diabetic retinopathy, and vitrectomy for a wide range of retinal disorders.
Dr. Peracha is a retina eye specialist. Dr. Peracha is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Peracha went on to complete his internship at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. He then completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at Kresge Eye Institute, Wayne State University School of Medicine. He did his Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Diseases and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine Houston, Texas.
